was just wonderin about the differences between the attitudes of the male and female T. Blondi, and how long does the male live after reaching full matureity. I heared somewhere that males tend to be less aggressive than the girls. (reminds me of some people i knew;P)

My male survived 9 months if I remember correctly. Dunno about temperament.

My male lived about 6-8 months after final molt, and was huge. He could easily touch the top of his 10 gallon aquarium when he stood up.

He always had a very bad disposition, right from when I got him as a sling. Would throw hairs and rear up at the slightest provocation, including me putting long tweezers in his enclosure to clean it up. He was also extremely fast, even full grown. When he attacked food, he moved so fast it was almost impossible to follow. I know what people mean when they say their spider "teleported" from one place to another, because this one was like that.
