Hi everyone. As i know T.albopilosum is terrestrial tarantula, do all albopilosums burrow, or it is my fault in containing(maybe too dry)?
Cause my approximately 3-moulted tarantula literally lives under ground.

Need a photo of the whole setup to get good feedback on a question like this.

Pretty much every fossorial/terrestrial sling will burrow. Even quite a few arboreal species will burrow as slings. With the albos I started to really see mine abandon the burrow and sit out around the 2” mark.

Virtually all "terrestrial" tarantulas are actually fossorials; it's just that they're less inclined in captivity to spend pretty much their entire life in a burrow, in contrast to the "obligate fossorials" (Cyriopagopus, Pelinobius, etc), so they're said to be terrestrial.

Incidentally, I have an obligate fossorial (Cyriopagopus schmidti) that spends over half its time out of its hole....

rocks are dangerous, they could crush or wound the sling.
even if on the ground of the enclosure, when it gets knocked over.
i'd remove it.

My sling is always digging and moving substrate around, and so are the siblings that the breeder still has, it's normal.

Slings tend to burrow more than juvies/adults. I'd ditch the stone/nutshell, just substrate with a hole poked in as a starter burrow will be sufficient (I basically do this and then add a clump of sphagnum moss), keep one half of the substrate damp.

They tend to burro as terrestrial Ts unless yours, like mine is comfortable in a hide that you provided. This is my "Wednesday"

I sent a picture of the wrong spider earlier lol, but yes the burrow unless you provide a comfortable hide for them but you will want to provide more substrate for this genus. For one your size I would recommend at least 4-6 inch deep substrate often times tarantula keepers fill terrariums half to 2/3rds full to prevent injuries from falls as they will occasionally climb the sides or rarely the enclosure lid (upside-down). This is my "Samara"
