I recently ordered a G. Aureostratia and am preparing it's terrarium, it's a .75 inch sling and I have two primary questions;
one: how deep does the substrate have to be (apx measurements for the ideal enclosure for a T that small please) and,
two: other than ventilation, does transparency or tramslucency of the enclosure matter to a high degree? ( ie does it have to be almost perfectly clear or can it be a fogged plastic enclosure?)

All of my enclosures are clear or near clear, that is mostly for me to see them and it is stated in the beginners guide. as for terrestrial slings, my arboreal's have a half inch of substrate and plenty of height open while my terrestrials have mostly all dirt and no height. My B. smithi dug itself an inch in the 50 dram vial it's in and my rust rump did the same in it's 20 dram vial. And my c. fasciatum is in a small kk and just builds it however it wants.
