Substrate changeout ?

Hi . My two desert millipedes have emerged after a period of months and have been chilling out on the surface , and I wonder , is it time to purchase fresh substrate for them to replace their current one ? It’s been the same since around August and it is a lot of substrate , but perhaps it’s time for fresh . I’m not sure the rate they could eat through this amount though . Any advice greatly appreciated .!

Nah you're good. They might just be relaxing after a molt. You might have to mix in more decaying food sources but if you only have 2 in that tank they shouldn't need a replacement that soon.
