Sub adult Psytalla horrida, or one more to go before then?

My largest Psytalla horrida nymph moulted last night (exciting!). He's looking quite large now but I can't figure out if he's subadult yet or not. I don't know how many moults he's had in total.



It's not a perfect photo but it's the best I could get. Any ideas?

Wow he’s gorgeous, who/where did you buy it? Maybe get in touch with your seller and ask about its history. A reputable breeder should be able to tell you.

Not a subadult yet. Subadults have larger wing buds.

I’d agree, not yet sub. The wing pads become significantly larger before the ultimate molt.
