Mexican red rump mature male almost 2yrs old stuck in molt I tried wetting down the molt, got 1 front leg out. Pedipalps and left front stuck still was kicking hairs and I know he's so stressed out by this any advice or help on this??? Idk if he's gonna make it I feel so bad and breaking down my poor baby please any advice would help or is it too late?

There 1 old one in picture and both pedipalps stuck these are the ones I got off to help him. His right front is deformed from it hardening inside

If the new book lungs and anus are exposed, I would worry a lot less. So he was mature and then molted again, and it's uncommon for them to molt again but if they live long enough and are fed well, it can happen.
He may end up chewing his pedipalps off but let him. They are inconsequential if he can still eat.

Yes those are the old ones you circled I don't wanna flip him back over but everything is off on the bottom, I crumbled all the old dry molt to make it easier so its just the front pieces stuck. I've been using q tips and warm water all over him while trying to release some

This is a situation where a mature male is attempting to molt again despite being sexually mature and usually when this occurs, they do not survive as they usually get stuck and die. There are cases where you can save them, but they are rare and usually they won't live too long since they're already a mature male trying to molt again.

I have heard of one maybe two instances where a mature male survived another molt but I'm quite new to the game.
It sounds like the important parts are out.
The fangs being bent may mean starvation or he may be able to still eat. If he makes it that far.
In your downtime you should read up on methods for euthanasia and come up with a plan.

Gow long do I wait till its cruel his front is still stuck, at what point do I say enough is enough and will he self amputate or is he not able to??? I'm heart broken
I know it's sad but it's the most merciful thing you can do.
If it were my tarantula, and the only thing that didn't clear was his pedipalps, I might give him time to harden and see if he can still eat and drink. If there is absolutely zero chance his exuvia was contaminated by anything, carefully put it back into his enclosure, near him, and wet it down a little. It's usually their first oral intake after a molt. They suck the moisture out of it.
It will be a few weeks before he is able to eat again. Can you watch him sustain or deteriorate for that long?

I Drip water over the front part of his molt Still I just hate seeing him try and get his molt off and he cant, I don't want it to be cruel. That's the last thing I want to do for my babies But to possibly see if he could amputate and survive this i'm willing to.... But if it's not fair to him I don't know what to do, What's right and what's wrong I don't want him to be in pain
