An opportunity to add a Stromatopelma calceatum to my collection came about, and after a lot of thinking i decided to buy it. It has a bit of a story - a customer at the reptile shop closed it's enclosures lid on it, and chopped four of it's legs on one side off. The shop took care of it, and it moulted with all of it's legs back. it's a juvenile, and I got it at a massively reduced price because of the circumstance, only £6. Pictures to follow when i manage to get a few good ones!

If you have experience with other fast arboreals like psalmos etc, i'd say go for it

With that said, there's fast as light speed, powerful venom and high strung temperament to deal with so always "an eye" :)

Guys, just wondering, I'm upgrading this tarantulas tank, should I get an unvented, 28mm vent or 35mm vent?
