I disturbed her a bit when camera hit the glass and she put down a few legs.

But heres a picture of part of what she was doing except she was Vertical. Up on her two rear legs and tripoding with her butt.

Flexing fangs.

But not in agressive or threat stance.
Not even Acting agrivated.
Just being Weird.

My Chilean Rosehair would do that for about a week after I bought her when I'd open the tank to change her water and give her crickets. But now she's starting to get used to it so she acts less defensive when I open the tank's lid.

This wasn't defencive. Not in the least, she just slowly took herself up into this position and held it like that for the longest time.
After I took the picture she went trundling back to her webbing and has been laying web since.

Nixy,

Rearing up and flexing their fangs is defense posture.... :)

Yep.
And I have Seen her defence posture.
And am not arguing with the experts but this was decidedly Different.
It was Very relaxed..
Like, stretching.
And Totaly vertical.

It was just Very different.

I guess ya had to be there LOL.

It was weird.
Anyway.

She's a weird bug.
