If your millipede is curled up and not moving, you might want to put it on the right substrate. Yes, they eat lettuce but they need dead leaves and decayed wood with added calcium. I know before you said your pede was on sphagnum. You can add it in after you have the correct substrate. Make sure that the habitat is very damp! Also, add a hide too.
