I don't have one of them but I have quite a few S. nobilis. Such misunderstood creatures

Thanks, this specimen was found in a garden centre in Middlesex and sent to me and yep, I've an abundance of S.nobilis too and agree, a much vilified species mainly due to the media nonsense.

Heard the media nonsense summed up nicely the other day. A very nice neatly kept up stretch of landscape planted out with roses, adjacent to a sewage treatment plant. A friend commented, "How is this for a metaphor of modern media of today?"

I think their unnecessary bad rep is what makes me have a soft spot for them ☺
