starting a Blaberus fusca colony.

ordered 40 of them for a starter collony, i have a spair 10 gall i was guna stick them into for now, or i was thinking of placeing them into a big plastic tub. i wasnt to sure how i might be bable to heat the plastic tub tho,perhaps if i cut a hole into the lid, and use a heat lamp??

Use a heat pad or heat tape. that is what i use for all my roaches and they live in rubbermaid tubs. Have fun with them i know you'll love that species,

are heat pads ok to use on plastic tubs?? i read on the instrucions not to use them on plastic..

If you make sure they don't get above 100*F Just put a dimmer switch on them.
