For someone who has no centipede experience beyond the short-term care of small native pedes, what would you recommend as a beginner species?

galeo,

If I had to name one, Scolopendra polymorpha... "Texas Tiger" ... but I think S. morsitans would be a great starter as well... all fairly small as adults (6" or so) and able to take small prey like the lg cricks you feed your Ts. Any subspinipes ("Vietnamese" or "Malaysian") will be a little psycho... call it the pede equivalent of an Usambara... ;)
