Hello all, I have a mature female G. Rosea, and I have recently noticed that she has small splits in some of her legs. They look like slits or cracks. She moulted two months ago, and she does not seem to have any discomfort. I am wondering if this is normal or if I should be worried. Thank-you!

How do you know your G. rosea is a female? Are the slits your reffering to on the patella (knee)? Take a look around at pictures of some G. rosea.

The breeder I bought her from said she was female, plus she does not have mating hooks on her front legs. She is very large as well. the slits in her legs are in different areas, for instance two almost in a V shape on her upper leg above the joint, and a few below her lower joints.
