Spider kills massive prey!

Hey Everyone, im new here and i dont know much about arachnids, but i enjoy watching them do there thing!

I found this video on youtube of a spider killing a big cricket, is this a huntsman spider or a small tarantula?

Well it's not a tarantula but I wouldn't be able to say if it's a huntsman .

But I'm pretty sure that big cricket is a locust

Yes, adults have wings. I've also seen one attempt to fly, but it looked like it was trying to control its fall.

Well not legally I dont think that chance comes around to often. I imagine sometimes they still get in with shipments of fruit and such but I dont think there are to many captive ones here in the states.

Last I heard they were very difficult to get a hold of, New Zealand born sp. of this kind are considered rare and very little, if any, importing is done (to the U.S.). But I have heard that they are a very docile bunch, and good keepers.
