Found this fella hanging around on the grass around a street light. He was a quick one so it was very hard to get pictures, let alone.. catch him, lol. At first, we thought a possible relative of the Lycosidae family but we're not sure. Anyone have any ideas?? :?

We agree it's a species of the Lycosidae family but we're not sure which species. The spider was found in central Florida around midnight. The part that is throwing us off a bit is the pink-ish markings on the top of her abdomen. We can't remember ever seeing a species with that color of marking before unless it has just slipped our minds. Do you have any idea what species it might be??

Schizocosa avida. :D
After doing some research, we do believe your right! It's the closest match and since we didn't capture the little one, it's hard to make a positive ID from just a few pictures. We appreciate the help, thaanks! :D
