I found it not on a web it was on a railing the only webs around were cobwebsSee what kind of web it builds.
I found it early October so maybe it was a maleCould be a roaming male. Observe and wait. If a long jaw and it webs it will be obvious in an hour or two. No web, male out for romance.
The biological clock in males may not be logical. Could be any time of the year. When nature calls........... It could also make weird partial bits of webbing as part of the romance plan.I found it early October so maybe it was a male
