So I went to a local pet shop to buy some crickets for my Slings and running around the bottom was a very small maybe a bit less than 1cm leg span (diagonally) spider, so as of right now I’ve put it inside a sling pot till it’s identified :)
Never seen one before so sparked my interest
Posted a couple pics and the tub he came in, sorry for the quality It’s take on my Phone

thanks for lookin at my post
Would be great if somebody could identify This little fella for me :)

Hey Awesome, I did a bit of research into Philodromidae and The UK Crab Spider and I think Ive found it, I’m 99% sure it’s a:
Philodromus dispar Female, as the males are more of brown/black as the females are more of a beige colour

Thank you for your help also too :)

Thanatus is likely the genus. Commonly referred to as the "cricket thief," because they're often found in cricket colonies/shipments.

I agree that it’s a Thanatus sp. It’s a pretty widespread genus and I find a lot in my area that look similar, just with different coloring.
