Spider & Eggsac outside our home.

Hiya Guys,

A month ago i noticed a spider eggsac outside our flat, under the roof. I know mum's keeping a close eye on her Young as i saw her with it the other day but was unable to take a picture as we had leant our camera to a family member. So today i decided to get a shot but was not able to see mum about?

Hopefully she will come back soon so i can take a better shot. I must have a "Spider's Welcome" sign on our front door! lol.

Spiders guarding egg sacs in the middle of winter? What kind of country is the UK? I take a wild guess: Zygiella sp., but then the female will soon die (if she isn't already dead).

I think she might be dead? I have'nt seen her for a while. I wish i got a picture sooner! I can try and describe her... She's about 1.5cm big and brown in colour. I could'nt see any markings on her. My guess is she was just your regular house spider.

I'm keeping an eye on the eggsac, so if the spiderlings hatch i will take some more photo's.

DAMN! I wish i had my camera, It looked so cute to see mum guarding her eggsac!. Nevermind
