Hello everyone!
I just wanted to share some footage of a African giant mantis hunting/consuming a house gecko commonly found in Israel.
Although gruesome, this is nature and it was fascinating to see in person that an insect can consume a reptile! I found this scene in Haifa Israel where this Mantis species has begun to thrive having moved over from Africa. Make sure to watch it in HD!
