Hello, I was wondering, is this a Centrobolus splendidus? I feel like when I watched other pictures they had more black on them Csplendidus.jpg

was it sold to you as a Centrobolus splendidus? if so then yes. it most likely just has minor color variation, however take my words with a grain of salt because I have very little experience with millipedes.

Yes, was sold as that. I just looked at pictures of others online and they seemed to have more pronounced dark on them so got uncertain. Thank you

What a Beauty...
I'm thinking * One * reason for differences in coloration within the species could be Lighting Effects.
Basically Optical Illusions.
Causing Darkening, Brightening, Reflecting different colors in the spectrum etc.
Nice 'Red Fire' btw

Thank you, have 8-9 of the little critters. Seen alot og mating so hoping for some babies. Good to know. I just wanted to make sure it was the right species. Pictures can be confusing 😅
