I realise these movies wont be of any help to those outside of Australia, well, at least not from the point of view of species identification. However, you may find some of the morphological characteristics ineresting and may see similar features on the scorpions you keep. Let me know what you think...I have started making these since discovering my el'cheapo movie camera fits easily onto my Nikon microscope.

This movie shows the sand comb of Urodacus yaschenkoi.

Awesome Mark,

I am thoroughally impressed! Although scorpion research has become more of an interest to scientists as well as hobbiest, than in the past, we definenlty lack digital resources for learning the different morphological features of various scorpions. Excellent idea and presentation, finally a good elbaoration to all the weird anatomical names in Polis book.

Well done, I look foward to more. ;)
