are u talkin' bout Dolomedes sp? I'll try to catch one tomorrow when I go fishing with my father. There are many swamps here in brazil that they are easily caught
I got a juv, and i'll hunt a male to climb her soon xD
I'm setting up the aqua-terrarium, with a (i don't know this in english, so ill call as in brazil: "Isopor") as an floating island, and ill put artificial plants and grass on it... in the subwater floor I put some aquarium stones, i think it is cool
Usually the spiders marketed as "south american fishing spiders" are ancylometes, which are only distant relatives to dolomedes and quite a bit larger.
Search "ancylometes" in this forum and you'll get a lot of information.
