I've been busy for a bit so I haven't been posting as regularly. Anyway, though I'm not showing pics, things are still happening on this end. I'll add some more breeding reports soon! Here are a few that have been working hard at getting a few more slings over here:
A. avicularia- About a week after this she dropped the larges Avicularia eggsac I've seen. It looks like a ping pong ball!

A. chacoana

I think he got her!

And another B. klaasi pairing:

And the spider formerly known as C. crawshayi: P. muticus

And the titans of the T world: C. elegans...this pairing lasted just one minute shy of 2.5 hours. What they lack in size they make up for in endurance!

Another marathon spider. The pairings for this species seem to last anywhere from 1-2 hours.

This guy was quick and to the point. I don't even think he drummed once. Just walked over there and did what he did. I doubt he'll call her again.

This little guy is on loan from Joe (XhexdX): H. albostriatum

Another guy on loan: M. robustum

N. chromatus:

P. fasciata: He had only one pedipalp, but he wasn't letting that hold him back

P. pederseni: For those of you who know what to look for you can see he got the job done on this one

S. sp. "rubronitens"

X. immanis: More than any species I've kept before, I hope this results in a successful eggsac.

Wow  I didn't think they paired for longer then a minute or two. Hours!? Again, wow!

And the P. muticus, Look at the size difference!

Do you still have the male? I have to freshly molted females here. The male I had was a dud. I would like to work something out. Thanks!

She's a small female too. I figured start with her since I had a better chance of preserving the male.

I do still have the male, but he has a number of other dates still. I inadvertently acquired a number of females over the last year and all have molted within the last two months.
