Got My First T's today. A 2in P. Ornata 3rd instar, and a 4" B. Sabulosum.

Couple of interesting discoveries, I went to Walmart (unfortunately, dont have many alternatives here) and was looking for substrate. I found Scotts Premium Topsoil for $1.98, unfertilized, no pesticides, already enriched with peat moss. gonna toss it in the over right now and let it dry out, Ill post a video soon that I took. It had to get chopped into 1 minute segments because the camera is weak

yes and no, while I was there I assembled what I assumed to be a Arachniphiles starter kit.

1- 1 gallon snaplock
1- 25Q sterilite
1- Black and Decker RTX rotary (Dremmel)
1- Drill bit set
1- bag Scotts Premium Topsoil

and it all cost about $40, I just hate having to go to walmart

Shame! you spelled Arachnophiles wrong! lol, that's alright, you're still an Arachnonoob. This is Arachnotastic now that we have another Arachnofreak joining our Arachnoranks. :}

My P. regalis is in one also! They are pretty nifty, better than a KK and way cheaper......
Sometimes as I'm browsing the 'food storage' in Wal-Mart I wonder if I'm the only person on the planet searching for tarantula enclosures there. But I can rest assured, while I may be the only one in town, I'm not the only one in the world! {D Now to get one of those cereal box containers for my Haplo..... :rolleyes:
