Hey Gary, yeah, solifs are definetely one of the top monsters of the invert world, along with giant water bugs and centipedes of course.
Yes, there is one venemous species of solifugid known. Of the family Rhagodidae, species Rhagodes nigrocinctus, from India. The venom is capable of subdueing small animals like mice and lizards.
