Soil choice

What potting soil would be best in terms of purity and overall tarantula liking?

GC, I strictly use peat now but in former years have had some success with cheap brands lacking any additives. I've seen the argument go both ways abt those with additives such as miracle grow but personally would not use them.

Joe (hexd) has evidently had lots of luck with Earthgrow topsoil from Lowe's. Correct me if I'm wrong on either account, Joe. They have the same brand here at Lowe's and I'm considering getting a bag for burrowers such as H gigas.
