Snake Substrate

I found a substrate I would like to try but I dont know if it is safe. I was looking at Sani Chips but I dont know if it is dangerous in any way. Is this ok to use?

I use sani-chips, with no problems.

The pieces are so small, that I don't worry about ingestion and possible impaction, but if that worries you, you can feed in a seperate container, or if you feed f/t, you can even just offer the prey item on a dish so it doesn't touch the substrate.
