snake shed

how often do colubrids shed. i have a corn snake that is only jus getting ready to shed now and i have had it for 1 and a half months yet my cali king shed 2-3 weeks ago and is getting ready to shed again is this normal?

It depends on temperature, how much it is being fed, etc. 3 weeks between sheds seems a little quick to me, but I suppose it is possible. How big is it and how much and often are you feeding it?

the cali king is 18-22 inches long and a yr old im keeping him wid a hot side of 32 degrees and a cold side of 26 degrees these both drop by about 3 degrees of a nite and i feed him one fuzzy every 4 days

I would cut down the feeding to every 7 days.

Shedding is indicative of growth. There is no set schedule for a snake to shed.
