'sling Question

Hello, I currently own a sling and i'm going to acquire an avic versicolor soon. so I was wondering how long will it take for them to reach a mature state( in years or months). does it depend on species? does any one here own a versicolor that they raised from spiderslings?I know how to take care of slings since this forum helps alot!

I haven't raised a versicolor from a sling. but I have raised many of the other Avic's. Depending on how you feed them and if you keep the humidity and temperature coorect for them, Iwould say it takes 2-3 years for an Avic to mature. There are other species of tarantula that could take 10 years to mature. it really does depend on the species and how they are raised.
