I have several 1/4" slings, and I'm forced to pre-kill my pinhead red runners and XS dubias. I don't like the idea of having the guts of the feeders on the substrate because of a potential infestation. Then again, I want to ensure my slings are eating.
*Is it best that I rip the feeders' body (particularly dubias since their shell is harder) open so that slings would be able to easily feed off?
*Are 1/4" slings strong enough to pierce small dubia and lateralis to properly feed? Thanks in advance, guys!
