since no darkening of the abdomen for the old world waht are the signs aside from not eating for a long time????

There is a darkening of the abdomen (though with some its overall darkening), though only really apparent on slings and juvies. I see with australian T slings and my H.gigas sling.

Like Thoth said, there is darkening on old world T's. It's just that it's very hard to see most of the time since there is no urticating hairs on old worlders to be rubbed off to expose the exo to tell of it's darkening.
