Silverfish Bite??

I have googled "can Silverfish bite?" and cant get a decisive answer. so i figured on here wouldent be a better place to ask???!!! So Can Silverfish Bite humans?

I've never been bit by one but I used to have a lot in my garage. I always wondered, why do they have that silver stuff on them that comes off on your hands? Like on butterfly wings.
