I'd go with male but i'm new at this so don't take my word for it. Just comparing to what I have seen on Rick West's site http://www.birdspiders.com/faq_sex.html
I would recommend waiting for it to molt, and sexing via the exoskeleton. There's a great article explaining how to do this on the ATS site. That;s the only sexing method I use, and judging by the apparent size of your Avic, it would be very easy to do.
Looking at the pic, I would say male since the little "bump" dosen't seem to be there between the last set of legs. But I would also wait until the next molt to be sure.
