Should I remove leftover food on my scorp's hide?

My lil ASF left his half eaten superworm in his hide. I don't think he'll eat it anytime soon and it was in his enclosure for at least a day now. Is it bad to leave leftover food on his hide? It's my first time taking care of a scorpion, so any tips will really help. Thanks
