Should I provide a hide ?

I have a 2.5" vietnamese tiger and was wondering should I provide a hide for it or just let it make a burrow it's self?? What do you do???

Hmmmmmmm.....well my Vietnamese Tiger (Haplopelma "sp" longipedum) who has constructed her own little burrow using peat moss and terrarium moss. That's good enough for her.

mine has built a huge burrow. it only rook 24 hours and its about a foot or so long. it goes from one corner straight down then along the side and the along the other side, its super cool

It should burrow on its own without issue, but you can never go wrong with offering a hide. If the T doesn't use it, oh well, but it can't hurt.

What I do is make sure there's enough substrate to allow burrowing.Place a shelter in also.Some of mine take the shelter..some burrow and some burrow from inside the shelter or just dig the inside of the shelter deeper...gives them a few options then.....peace..
