Shortest Time You Had a Pet Before Dying?

What animal and how long?

I bought this red tail catfish, died on me after 7 hours. I guess it didnt adopt to my indoor pond. Plus my gouramis and dragonfins were bullying him even if he was big.

Thai Zebra tarantula. Brought it home, parents thought it was a deadly spider from hell. Went out to my car, came back, tarantula = flipflop massacre.

I was like WTF?!?!?!?!?? They were like, shoulda told us. I'm like "BUT IT WAS IN A FREAKEN CONTAINER INSIDE A FREAKEN BAG!!!!"

So since the time I set home I guess 10 minutes?

Like $50 or something I forgot, many years ago. It was an adult female I think.

I was all shocked and my parents were just like "whatever let by gones be by gones, what do u wanna eat for lunch today son?"

Ouch man. Sorry to hear that. But hey, cant really blame your parents. A lot of older/misinformed people just react the way your parents did. Shoot now, ask later.

My tarantula that I was bringing back home from Mexico. I had him/ her a week and one of the people at the airport thought it would be funny and douced it with raid. I was so sad and pi**ed off.

I once bought a Firemouth cichlid that was infected with something (and it was internal because I saw no signs) and upon getting it home, it began gasping at the top of the tank and died within 10 minutes

I bought a red legged millipede at a pet store. It made one lap around the tank and died. Luckily I was able to get my money back from the store. They weren't suprised either. I guess most of the pedes they got died within a few days

Had an A. seemani for a week. He was sickly when we got him in the store so they just gave him to me after a month of no recovery. He got stuck in a molt and ripped his leg. Little guy ended up bleeding out.

i went to a pet store to get a fancy guppy...and they bagged it and put it on the counter and i payed and when i went to pick up the bag it fell hit the floor and the fish died......so yeah it was my pet for o id say about 40 seconds....

male african millipede had him for about 2 moths died becosue he actually had mold growing on him and i couldnt stop it

my mother is a bio teacher and was bringing 30 fish home for the night and then taking them to the class as class pets the next day, she changed them from their old container to a new clean (we thought) container and we found them floating the next morning

and i was gonna keep those suckers >.<
