Would this be ok? They would be in a styro box, and I would put them ontop of some other containers. I would also tape around the bag to ensure they don't get out. Can't see any problems from it personally and I need to save space in a package.

personally, i wouldn't do it
kinda like bagging crickets?
if you are still going to do it, then at least put a small eggcrate in there so that they have something to cling onto and don't bounce around endlessly, and something that they don't have a grip on (like the smooth surface of the bag).
too many roaches in a bag will suffocate them due to a lack of oxygen.
please let me know how things turn out if you plan on shipping them anyway.

i hate bag shipments. i have had terrible luck with them and think it is, over all, a silly way to ship. the amount of space you save is minimal (tupperware and condiment containers come in all sizes and shapes)

i would ask the person you are intending to ship to if they mind. after all, that is really one fo the only opinions tht matters

I ordered some hissers that arrived in a sock tied at one end. It was kind of strange but the roaches made it ok.

i think my problem came from the fact it was a somewhat large order and there where things sacked and things in hard containers. it seems like the sacked bugs were mashed against the hard containers when the package was enroute

and these were cotton sacks. leaked all over. it sucked.

i was not impressed with the service at all and do not use that vendor anymore =P

It was a long time ago. It was an online store selling only hissers. I don't think it exists anymore. A strange shipping method but it worked. :)

id suggest using either 34-45 oz big gulp cups from 7-11....secure with tape and you should be set....like mentioned above, bags have been bad luck for me as well. and i've found that this method works great....
