How long does a mirror patch last?
It looks like a premolt but people have said it's just a mirror patch.

If a species has a mirror patch it will always have one. It's a trait of the setae (hair) and the way the light reflects off of it.

A dark shiny spot covering most of the abdomen is seen right before a molt. This guy was starting to darken up (the back half). It kept going till the whole abdomen was black and then it molted.
