Shinning Out Females

I have seen post with people using flashlights to shine out gravid female pokies, does this trick work for other female tarantulas? Like Avics or Brachys?

I have had it work with both avics and brachys.

That’s great, I didn’t know if the darker colorations of both of those genuses would hinder the use of flashlights for shining out the eggs in females. How big were the females when you were able to do this? Does it work on juvenile females?

It can make it harder yes, but in the later stages it is still easy to spot.
