hey, I have an A. seemanni sling, and i use a shampoo bottle cap for his shelter (;p) It was and is the only thing that I could find that would fit in his little deli cup... I washed it out and I didnt use soap. I wanted to know if it was safe for s/he?

Shampoo cap

It is fine as long as there is no shampoo on or in it.

Today's plastics are generally safe... they have to pass standards. Just like food products are only allowed a certain amount of rat turds per ounce of food produced!!

I think it's a great and original idea! I use toilet paper rolls (just the cardboard thank-you!!) for my burrowers. I kind of dig a long ditch in the substrate, set in the roll and cover up the back end so they feel safe and secure. My Usambara Brat completely webbed herself in!!

This is a great forum to share ideas, and I just might try yours with my 2 Curly-slings! Thanks!=D
