Sexing Trapdoor spiders

Just wondering if you can ventrally sex trapdoor spiders. I had mine out and the epigastric furrow looks almost like a T's except it is hairless. Would this be a possible way to sex immature trapdoor spiders?

well, a good first step would be to have everyone with traps (Bothriocyrtum californicum in "our" case here) take ventral shots
