Is there any possible way to sex a 1" sling of any kind? Or is this way too soon to tell?

Nine times out of ten, the molt is too mangled to tell. At least for me. Occasionally, though, it's in nice enough condition to tell. You'll definitely need a handheld microscope though, which tend to only run about $10 on Amazon.

I just sexed my 0.75" C. argentinens a few days ago, but I was only able to pull it off because he left the molt perfectly intact.

So if somebody is selling 1" Avicularia versicolor slings at a really good price, I shouldn't hesitate to buy them, right?

I wouldn't trust it at all. That sounds like a scam. Now, if it's a good price for 1" slings, then sure. But if they're boosting the price for a female, then no. I just don't buy that they've successfully sexed over 100 tiny slings.
