Hello people. I was sold a H.swammerdami last yr. It has just molten to l4. Will someone be able to tell me the sex pls. As I have no frame of reference. Had an emperor as a kid. Any help appreciated. Mike

My experience in sexing scorps lies mostly with P. imperators. I believe the same rules apply to Heterometrus.

I agree with @LeFanDesBugs and second that male vote.

I am using those massive pectines and the operculum as a method of determining.

okay thank you. Is there anyone on here who breeds this sp. that can sell me a female? The website I have found has unsexed 3-4 cm scorpions. Would like to try my hand at breeding them at some point in the future. Cheers for the speedy replies.
