selenocosmia arndsti questions

Hi!

I'm getting a few new t's tomorow and i was planning on getting a S.arndsti.

anyone have info on them? What size can they reach?

Only thing I know is they are very defensive, come from new guinea and are deep burrower.

hello, that is a very interessting species, lucky you

It can reach about 5-6 inches, I think!?

But it have also more potent venom then most other tarantulas and it is also very shy, like many other asian species

yeah great species.beautiful colors.i keep mine the same as haplopelma.ive heard these can be quite fast to but i havent seen it first hand

Mine is VERY shy.

It's grown well, likes it fairly humid.
and I see it only when I shiine a light into the burrow ( system of tunnels ) it has made.

but the stark contrast of rust red to the black femurs is awesome.
