scorpions of san antonioTX

im really considering heading out to the arachnocon this year, and am looking forwards to collecting some scorps out in the field, so i was wondering what all can i expect to find in the area? hopefully some c. vittatus because im looking to expand my colony by between 10 and 15

Well you otta be able to find enough vittatus to expand well. We found a ton of them last year during Arachnocon.

C.vittatus can be found around San Antonion, but it is tricky. I found it best to:

1. Go outside.
2. Turn on my blacklight.

Generally that turned up a few dozen.
