Can any of you knowledgable folks point me in the direction of some good taxonomy literature, specifically dealing with scorpion identification? Perhaps even something online so I don't have to spend extra cash on these money-eating little monsters?

Thanks,
Chris

Click on the 'Scorpion Literature' button in the Scorpion Files website...just about any modern technical scorpion book printed is listed here.

http://www.ub.ntnu.no/scorpion-files/

There are also some online links there too.

John--Yeah, I'm quite familiar with Jan's site. I was kind of wondering which books you guys recommend. Also, a lot of the taxonomy links on Jan's site are down. It just seems like there isn't that much information online.

Edward--I'm interested in learning ID methods for Buthidae, specifically Centruriodes sp., but I'm sure I'll want to know more!

Thanks for the insight,
Chris

Well, I don't currently have any official research documentation on Centruroides, I don't think, but I'll look around. If you are interested in European scorpion ID, gimme a holla.

adios,
edw. :D
