My current set up for my 8 Asian forest scorpions and my 2 baby bark scorpions. I'm fairly new to scorpions. Anyone have any tips? How often should I feed the Asian forest Scorpions?
What are the dimensions of that enclosure for your Heterometrus sp.? Are you keeping them communally? Individually? What instar are they, if you don't know, how big are they and what combination of genders do you have mixed in the community (If you're keeping them communally)? Feeding schedule depends on if they are still young and if they are being kept communally. My current set up for my 8 Asian forest scorpions and my 2 baby bark scorpions. I'm fairly new to scorpions. Without knowing how big they are (any kind of measurement will due, from it's mouth to tip of tail) I can't say whether the container is big enough for all eight of them. It looks really nice though. Did you catch those Heterometrus yourself too?The dimensions for the Asian Forest Scorpion Container- 38 cm wide 47 cm long 25 cm deep. They were wild caught so I don't know what instar they are. Most of them are not very big but I don't know enough to know how big/small they get. I keep them communally, with slightly more males then females (probably about 5 males and 3 females).
I can't find the bark scorpion species but I found them here in Thailand. I will separate them soon and take the rocks out of the water dish.
Thanks!
