Scorpion fighting

So I saw a video from a, now former, friend of mine of two scorpions fighting. And there was a small group of people crowed around them throwing money gabbling. It was hard to tell what species they were, bad quality video, but they looked to be P. imperators. Both scorpions were in a large wide wooden box. And I also saw another scorpion, I think it was a female, in a corner just watching the fight unfold. I only watched if for a couple seconds, the fight was brutal, just aweful to watch. What mad me so mad was these people laughing betting which scorpion will win.

My question is to you all...has anyone ever heard of this scorpion fighting? That was my first encounter and I hope the last

With a name like Spam010, you seem like a very trust-able guy. And everyone knows that emperor scorpions, which are commonly kept in large groups because of their docile nature, would suddenly decide to fight when money is at stake. To top it all off, there was a poor lonely female in the corner watching the whole thing unfold? Her poor poor heart, she must have been in shock and too frightened to move. She probably was in a committed long term relationship with one of the fighting scorpions and had previously dated the other.

It's amazing you were able to identify the gender of a species that is pretty much identical regardless of it being male or female. With it being a bad quality video, I bet you somehow managed to see underneath it and get a good look to determine its femininity.

I've seen a lot of fighting, cock fighting, because of my culture. They use females to give the males an aggression kick. Than throw the males in to fight, so the third scorpion doing nothing I thought was a female. And I they looked like emp scorpions. Just telling what I saw and to see if any other people have seen this. First is dog fights, cock fighting, and from today scorpion fighting
