Hey this is my first ever post to arachnoboards so please bear with me on any errors with my formatting.
I am having a bit of an emergency with one of my animals, I own a crocodile back scorpion (Hottentotta hottentotta) and it just had babies, or I should say baby, there is only one that I can spot and it fell off of the moms back, should I leave it in the enclosure and hope that it gets back on to her or should I pull it out and put it in a separate enclosure?

Method for rescuing abandoned/orphaned first instar scorpions. Acrylic container with lid. Paper towel folded on bottom of container. Add a few drops of water to the paper towel every day or two. 1st instars will usually congregate in one location. Keep warm and safe until the molt to 2nd instar. Same set up can also be used to incubate Saturniidae moth eggs. My success rate is over 90% for 1st instars that had no chance of surviving after the mother died or abandoned them for whatever reason.
