Believe me when I tell you DON'T GET BIT!!!they have a most painful bite. After I was bit it took me 20 years to start keeping them again and I don't plan on getting bit again!!!!!

Hello!

Very very painfull but no hospital.
Some tabletts for hard pain would be enough.

I got tagged yesterday by my 8+ inch girl. I pulled away so fast that the fangs didnt get a chance to sink in very deep, but instead left two long scratches down the length of my finger. Luckily she didn't snap a fang, and I apparently didnt get envenomated because I felt no after effects. I can attest to how strong the mandibles are though, as I was quite suprised at the pressure she applied.

From all reports, you are as lucky as a person can get without winning the lotterty.

I got bit by a suspinipes years back... I was poking around the cage and not paying attention (like an idiot) and got mistaken for food. My assumption is that I got the full payload and spent the 24 hours or so with severe swelling, throbbing and a fever. I had a bump on my finger for about five years after that... not permanent, but a reminder every time I opened a tank after that.
